Lima and surroundings

With its excellent, well equipped hotels Lima is an ideal destination for conferences and professional events.
Within a 3 to 6-hour bus ride from Lima unparalleled attractions wait for exploring them, such as Paracas with the Ballestas Islands, also known as the Little Galapagos, and the mystical Nazca lines.
Between December and April, the Pacific beaches around Lima offer pleasant stay and relaxation.
Lima is one of the world’s best gastronomic cities with top fine dining experiences and three Michelin-starred restaurants.
Thanks to the country’s great domestic flights, other attractions (Cuzco, Puno, Arequipa, Iquitos in the Amazon) are easily accessible from here.

Cusco and surroundings

Cusco is easily accessible from Lima, just over an hour’s flight away.
The atmosphere and magic of the ancient Inca city is unique among Peru’s unrivalled sights.

Peruvian Amazonia

The Amazon region, unique in the world, is an unparalleled nature experience.
It is directly accessible from the major cities of the country.
Nomadic conditions and untouched beauties take travellers to a totally different world.
There are a wide variety of jungle lodges and adventure excursions on the spot .

Recommended travel period: in the mountains and plateaus the dry season is between June and August; the coldest period lasts from December to March. The rainforest is always misty and rainy, with the driest period from June to September. The best season to travel is from spring to autumn. Due to the high altitudes, the daily temperature fluctuation can be up to 20 ° C.

Flight time to Lima: approximately 15 hours without transit time.

Time difference: -7 hours in summer, -6 hours in winter.

Visa: not required; a valid passport for 6 months is required for entry.

Mandatory vaccination: vaccination against yellow fever is mandatory, if the program includes other South American countries, or the traveller comes from an area affected by yellow fever. In Peru, high altitudes can cause altitude sickness. Travel is not recommended for people with cardiovascular or respiratory diseases.

Nazca and Paracas two-day program
The beauties of natural treasures and the values of Nazca culture are presented in the two-day program. From Lima, you can take a bus to Paracas, famous for its national park. Travel by motorized small boats to the Ballestas Islands, also named the Little Galapagos, where penguins, flamingos, cormorants, pelicans and sometimes sea lions can be observed along the coast. After that take a buggy tour of the Huachachina desert among the sand dunes. The next day’s attractions are the mysterious Nazca lines in the desert, which form different figures, animals from the time of Nazca culture. The lines can be seen from small planes of 4-6 people,

The hidden treasures of Lake Titicaca
Excursion by boat from Puno on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, which is said to be the birthplace of the Inca civilization. Visit of the Floating Islands which are a set of floating islands made from Totora reeds, inhabited by the Uros Indians who descended one of the oldest civilizations of the Americas. Visitors will be able to appreciate the raft people’s distinct lifestyle and creations, like elaboration of fine weavings.

Dinner at the Pre-Columbian Museum of Art in Cuzco
The museum has a special atmosphere as it is transformed from an Inca-era building into a mansion by Spanish conquerors. The participants are accompanied by a musical-costume parade.

Amazonian adventures around Iquitos
In the heart of the rainforest there are incredible adventures to explore: hiking, dolphin-watching, meeting the Yagua Indians, walking across the canopies of suspension bridges, visiting the “ethno-botanical garden”, where shaman tells stories about the area, gala dinner in Peruvian attire made by local tribes.
